This Week's New Releases

Brand new board & trading card games!

This week's brand new releases are...

A Feast For Odin

From legendary designer Uwe Rosenberg (Agricola, Patchwork) comes his most anticipated game yet - the frost giant-sized A Feast For Odin.

In the game, players hunt, gather and refine basic materials, develop their production buildings, and raid settlements to gain more coin and renown. The resulting earnings are placed on the players' board in the best possible pattern to produce income and, later, victory points.

A Feast For Odin is a truly godlike entry in the worker placement genre, and belongs in any serious game collection.

Legends of Wales

If you're after something really unique this week, treat yourself to a copy of Legends of Wales, the brand new card game by local Welsh artist Huw Aaron.

Based on the weird and wonderful worlds of Welsh mythology, each card has a unique character, and each character has its own set of skills and qualities. The player which holds the character with the best qualities and skills in each round wins!

This fun and beautifully illustrated game is a great way to learn about Welsh legends - perfect as 2017 is the Year of the Legends here in Wales!

Welsh language pack also available.

Terraforming Mars

It's back! One of 2017's biggest and best board games, the fantastic Terraforming Mars, has made its triumphant return to Rules of Play, and is as hotly demanded as ever! This 25th-century game of corporate competition on the Red Planet is already a sci-fi classic, and an absolute must-have.

Kerala

Welcome to the elephant festival in the Indian province of Kerala!

Kerala was a huge hit at International Tabletop Day, and it's no surprise why. Behind its breathtakingly stunning exterior lies a simple yet strategic game of tile placement that you'll want to play over and over.
