Ingenious - Rules of Play says:
In Ingenious, a.k.a. Einfach Genial, players take turns placing coloured domino-style tiles on a game board, scoring for each colour group that they enlarge. The trick, however, is that a player's score is equal to her worst-scoring colour, not her best, so she needs to score for all colours instead of specializing in only one or two.
Ingenious is a game that is in a league of its own. Quick to play, beautiful and one of the more "clever" board games. The game involves scoring points by placing your coloured tiles on a hexagonal board while trying to block your opponents from scoring points. Although it sounds simplistic, the game actually is a real challenge. The game has a nearly unlimited amount of strategies and with its unique scoring system, every game is different and challenging.
