Dawn's Early Light Red Hammer is set in a hypothetical 1985 as World War 3 starts. The game uses variable initiative, support element chit pulls, and a novel combat resolution mechanic to create a game modelling the lethality of the modern battlefield with a minimum of rules overhead.
