THE TORTURED ISLES are inspired by the lands of my upbringing (UK & France) the Tortured Isles, is a congreagation of 5 realms; each the wasted remains of a decaying land, ever striving towards a darkened end that shall never come.
Tir a land of washed and broken wylds, overrun by Vampyric conquerers form the Frozen North that seek further dominion of the lands.
Rhydd where Undead Wyverns act as a defensive barrier to the Vampyric horde to the north, yet hide a sinister secret in their Wylder past.
Iodum where the endless city ever burns in the fires of its factoria, where the peoples of the land are fuel for the flames at the want of their lords above. Yet, the seeds of rebellion stir deep in the darkened web of its infinite depths.
Niève where the wretched prince has been dethroned by the Daemons he bore that turned against him. Yet, now the land shrinks into isolation, and none can see the horrors that may reside behind their barricaded walls.
Fynn brought to this land from the realm of living, in the wake of their Osciallation. The event that heralded the Corrupting myst that hides the mechanical creatures of another realm. With only the IronClad warriors sent forth to combat this plague, and find the source of this malevolence.
