Set in feudal Japan, Philosophia: Floating World is a fully simultaneous deck-builder in which you can build majestic pagodas and Shinto shrines, learn ancient eastern wisdom, explore the world, fight ancient monsters, or all of the above.
This is a sandbox-style game, and how you play is up to you! In Floating World, you play as one of six unique characters from Edo Japan, each with a unique power and a mysterious secret. The game plays simultaneously over three phases that repeat until one player has gained a victory condition.
Welcome to Forever Home, the puzzly pattern-building game about second chances for shelter dogs! Using a combination of tile placement, set collection, and drafting, you and your friends take on the role of shelter workers.
Take it in turns to bring dogs into your shelter, complete training cards, and match pups up with new families. You'll be competing for valuable shelter commendations, as well as gaining reputation for training and rehoming the dogs in your care. At the end of the game, the shelter worker with the most reputation wins!
Lunar Rush is a simultaneous-play Euro-style board game combining time-based resource management, market economics, bidding, and tableau/engine-building into a refreshing new genre. Play as one of Earth’s four major corporate conglomerates, competing to mine the Moon for the newly-discovered “wonder materials,” lunethyst crystals and lunarium ore!
Every turn, players use their GigaCredits to bid for the best space routes to and from the Moon. The slower the route, the more you can load on the ship. On the Moon, players simultaneously upgrade their bases and place their astronaut workers to produce the resources needed to maintain the base, as well as Moon goods to sell in Earth's bustling dynamic markets. The game ends after seven turns, and the winner is the player with the most GigaCredits!
Players are stock brokers during the second Industrial Revolution, trying to make as much money as possible while also coming across as good citizens by donating money to charity. Purchase or sell shares of stock, and then manipulate the stock prices with the cards that they share with their two neighbors!
Additionally, players donate stock to charities, which is sold off at the end of the round for the charitable donation. Whoever donates the least to charity by the end of the game automatically lose, no matter how wealthy they've made themselves.
