Is it really your 10th birthday?
Yes, it really is! We first opened our doors to the public way back in the halcyon days of 2010. We couldn't think of a better way of celebrating our birthday than by throwing the biggest party in town and inviting all of you!
I can buy my tickets on the day, right?
You're welcome to risk it (you maverick, you!) but we strongly advise pre-buying your tickets in advance because we reached our 500+ capacity last year!
We fully expect the Board Game Festival to sell out. So be smart & buy your tickets ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
I need disabled access - is that possible?
Yep, definitely! There's a disabled access entrance to the side of the hotel, and 2 allocation blue badge parking spaces. Our event takes place on the ground floor, but there are lifts throughout the hotel. For more information, read The Angel Hotel's accessibility statement.
During the event, can I leave then come back?
Of course! All attendees get a wristband on entry that they can show on return.
Do I need to bring cash?
The Angel Hotel accepts card payments for buying drinks & food, and we take card payments at our stall if you want to purchase a new game.
But, that said, it's always wise to have a little bit of cash handy.
Do I need to bring a ticket receipt or proof of purchase on the day?
Feel free to save the confirmation email on your phone, but your name will be on a list so we can just tick you off.
Great! So, what do I need to do now?
Sit back & start the count down to the best and biggest weekend of the year...
