Retail / Event Assistant @ Rules of Play Bristol

Hours:            16 hrs. / week; occassional weekend and evening shifts

Salary:            Living wage / hour

We are looking for an outgoing, bright, and enthusiastic person to help us promote our growing business: in-store, at events and through our social media channels.

Working primarily on the shop floor, you will be in constant contact with the customers as a face of Rules of Play Bristol, ensuring excellent customer service and offering advice and guidance on board game selection.

Keeping up to date with new releases and industry trends, you will assist with the planning of special promotion of the stores events and with marketing the business.

Whilst a comprehensive knowledge of the board gaming industry isn't necessary, you should have an enthusiasm for the hobby and be able to recommend and teach its leading titles. NB: We are specifically looking for someone with board game knowledge rather than RPG or CCG.

An understanding of the Bristol board gaming market would be beneficial and the knowledge and ability to identify locations suitable for future event hosting is essential.
