We're looking for a retail / events assistant to work at Rules of Play Bristol! Could it be you?
Hours: Minimum 16 hours per week; including regular weekend and evening shifts
Salary: The real living wage, as prescribed by the Living Wage Foundation
We are looking for an outgoing, bright and enthusiastic person to help us promote our growing business: in-store, at events and through our social media channels. This role is based at our Bristol store in St Nicholas Market.
Working primarily on the shop floor and at board gaming events, you will be in constant contact with the customers as a face of Rules of Play, ensuring excellent customer service and offering advice and guidance on board game selection.
Keeping up to date with new releases and industry trends, you will assist with the planning of special promotion of the store's events and with marketing the business.
Whilst a comprehensive knowledge of the board gaming industry isn't necessary, you should have an enthusiasm for the hobby and be able to recommend and teach its leading titles.
An understanding of the Bristol board gaming market would be beneficial and the knowledge and ability to identify locations suitable for future event hosting is essential.
