1. Dead of Winter: The Long Night
Having played and loved Dead of Winter myself, and seeing it blow up across the gaming galaxy, it's no wonder this popular zombie-infested hellscape of ice and death has garnered a game sequel. Dead of Winter: The Long Night is a standalone and a sequel, where players will experience a new colony full of new survivors and will have to fight off bandits from another colony, build improvements to your colony, watch locations evolve as the results of Crossroads cards, and most intriguingly unravel the mysteries of the new 'Raxxon' pharmaceutical location.
ESTIMATED RELEASE DATE: THIRD QUARTER OF 2016
Imagine Pandemic, but instead of all the death and disease, it's death, disease, and MADNESS! In Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu, beings of ancient evil, known as Old Ones, are threatening to break out of their cosmic prison and awake into the world. Everything you know and love could be destroyed by chaos and madness. Can you and your fellow investigators manage to find and seal every portal in time? Hurry before you lose yourself to insanity. If you're a family of board gamers who loves Pandemic but needs a crazy edge, this one's for you! This game is also known as: the weirdest day working in a doctor's surgery ever.
ESTIMATED RELEASE DATE: WILL DEBUT AT GEN CON 2016 (AUGUST)
3. Flick 'Em Up
Following on from our recent infatuation with the West in things like Django Unchained and A Million Ways to Die in the West, comes the brand new board game Flick 'Em Up. More of a family board game than the games listed above, this game sees players either become outlaws, robbing banks, freeing prisoners and attacking innocent bystanders, or turning into the reliable Sheriff, protecting the people from these bandits. So, who ya gonna be, punk? They don’t call it the Wild West for nothing.
ESTIMATED RELEASE DATE: AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2016
