Game of the Week - One Night Ultimate Werewolf. One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a new version of the much-loved game of bluff and intrigue. As with the classic Werewolf game, players take on the role of villagers, attempting to try and deduce who are actually werewolves. This new version plays in a super-fast 10 minutes, and dispenses with the storyteller/facilitator role, so everyone can play. One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a brilliant party game for 3-10 people, and is well worth checking out for fans of the original or those who’ve never played before. For more information, check out the video reviews from Board With Life and Tom Vasel.
A Sitcom Set in a Boardgame Shop. Box Fresh is a proposal for a sitcom based in a board game shop.Currently raising funds for a pilot on Kickstarter, the clip currently available shows a lot of promise, with a very dry and very British sense of humour. We’re really looking forward to this, but hopefully haven’t provided too much inspiration!
You Saw Me Standing Alone – The Return of a Fantasy Classic. Later this year, Fantasy Flight is reprinting Reiner Knizia’s classic fantasy card game Blue Moon Legends. A brilliant 2 player game which was a big when originally available, we’re really excited for the new edition, which promises to come with the brilliant artwork and great production qualities we’ve come to expect from Fantasy Flight. For more information about the game, check out the preview detailing some of the deck-building options in the game.
The Crown of Command Crashes Down on PC and iPad. Following the release of the brilliantPrologue edition last year, we’re delighted to see that the full version of Talisman is now available on bothPC and iPad. With options to play on your own against the computer, or with up to 3 friends, this looks like a great digital adaptation of one of our favourite fantasy romps.
