A New Chapter Is About to Begin. We are now super close to the release of the latest edition of roleplaying classic Dungeons & Dragons, and we’re getting very, very excited. The brand-new beginner box will be available from next month, and at only £17 is the perfect opportunity to get involved in D&D, with the Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide and Monster Manual following shortly afterwards. Steve Jackson Games on a (Hipster Dice) Roll. Never one to rest on their laurels, Steve Jackson Games have a cavalcade of fantastic new (and classic re-release) games announced for 2014. In addition to Hipster Dice, we’ll also be seeing the Mars Attacks Dice Game, a Munchkin-themed re-release of Love Letter, Loot Letter and the intriguing lookingProteus, a mash-up of Chess and dice! Our many Munchkin fans can look forward to the release of Adventure Time and Legends editions of the game, and a monthly Munchkin comic! For those gamers with long memories (you know who you are), we have news of re-release of some classic Steve Jackson games from the 1980s, including OGRE pocket and the epic Car Wars!

Fluxx Gets Monstrous. Fear not fans of Fluxx, its not only Munchkin getting new versions this year. This Autumn sees the release of Monster Fluxx, containing all your favourite B-movie monster classics in the game of constant change! Lets hope is makes the UK in time for Halloween!

The Force is Strong With This One. Following the release of the fantastic X-Wing, Edge of the Empire andAge of Rebellion, fans of Star Wars and tabletop gaming let out a collective sigh of relief after seeing Fantasy Flight takes such good care of gaming in a galaxy far, far away. This means that expectations for newly announced 2-player card game Empire vs. Rebellion are at a galactic high. Also inbound later this year,we have the 5th Wave of Ships for X-Wing, which include an Imperial cruiser and Rebel freighter, and the 4th Wave in next week!
