Barony - Rules of Play says:
In Barony, players are ambitious barons trying to extend their dominion over the land and increase their rank of nobility!
Player first create the land they will be playing on and then take it in turns to fulfil actions, this could be to recruit more knights to the cause, or move their knights around the land to establish new villages and the resources that come with them. All this work is building to using the resources you have gained to pay for noble titles, and increase you standing!
When a player reaches the rank of Duke the round ends and all of the players count up there resources, towns, knights and strongholds and earn victory points on what they have. The player with the most victory points is the winner!
